During NMD Enterprise Week 2021, Newry Mourne and Down District Council has teamed up with the Labour Relations Agency, to highlight the range of services provided to local Employers and to learn more about the contribution the Labour Relations Agency can make in helping them develop and grow their business.
Central to the work of the Labour Relations Agency is its work to help improve employment relations in Northern Ireland by providing workplace advisory & dispute resolution services. All the services are free, impartial and confidential. The Agency regularly deliver workshops and seminars helping businesses keep up to date with changes in NI employment law and emerging best practice. They also provide ongoing, personalised support to ensure your employment policies and procedures are not only legally compliant but reflect the specific needs of your business.
As part of NMD Enterprise Week 2021, the Agency has released two online information sessions aimed at helping to engage and support businesses from right across the Newry Mourne and Down District Council area. The online sessions cover the following topics: –

This webinar provides an overview of the role of the Labour Relations Agency and the services they provide as well as looking more closely at their newly created Economic Development Team and the contribution of good employment practice to organizational success.
- Skills Shortages: Is there anything that you can do as an Employer?
The skills shortage will be the next big challenge facing businesses in NI. Is there anything that you can do as an employer? This webinar looks at the steps that businesses can take to both attract the talent you need, as well as look after the talent you already have.
